Eminem's mother, Debbie Nelson, is reportedly being sued by a man who claims he helped her put together a book based on the Detroit rapper but was cut out of the profits.

According to The Associated Press, Neal Alpert of Birmingham alleges he entered an agreement with Nelson in 2005 to be her agent and develop the book My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem

As part of the deal, Alpert was supposed to receive 25% of the book's profits.

The book, which was realesd last year in the UK, has sold over 100,000 copies and Alpert claims he has not been compensated.  The book is scheduled to hits US shelves this week.

Nelson could not be reached for comment on the lawsuit which was filed in Oakland County Circuit Court yesterday (April 7).

The more this woman talks, the bigger an idiot she looks like. If she would just shut the hell up, maybe people would never figure out just how little class she has. In her case, the tree didn`t fall far from the apple! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Print story E-mail story -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- Cary Howell Debbie Mathers sounds like a weak little mush pile. She has let her son walk all over her in the past and it`s her fault that he is how he is today. Sure, she may have some good excuses and seem slightly remorseful, but if she would stand up for herself and not let Eminem insult and abuse her in public -- and then cry "Mommy, Mommy" behind closed doors, as she put it -- then she would never have these problems. And we wouldn`t have to hear some wannabe white rapper whining about his mommy. -- Katy This only clears part of the evil professed on this vile and seething CD! If some of the vile venom spewing from Eminem`s mouth is true, then I guess that means the rest of the CD, where he demeans gays and lesbians, must be true as well. Yet he says to just take it with a grain of salt. What a disgusting man. This goes to show: Spare the rod, spoil the child. The mother is getting back what she put in: absolutely nothing! -- Jayme Lee Talson How can you write a story about a troubled person and mention his family, yet not one word about this sick person`s father? -- Les Cohen Read "Gag me with a Grammy!" You missed the best moment in the whole show. It was when Carlos Santana was announcing the record of the year award. He opened the envelope and said, "John Coltrane, `A Love Supreme`!" -- Jonathan Watterson This year`s Grammy Awards were a big disappointment. The entertainment was bland. The songs were overtaken by time. I was most disappointed in Destiny`s Child, Madonna, `N Sync and, of course, Eminem. If it were not for the host, Jon Stewart, people might have left the show. I don`t see what the controversy is about Eminem. He is obviously an artist, and artists do create. Eminem`s personal troubles have no connection with his artistic character, "Slim Shady." Yet, I don`t foresee a smooth road ahead for Eminem. If he does, in fact, have a rival rap group, his demise may be like that of Tupac or Biggie Smalls. -- Beverly Davis salon.com - - - - - - - - - - - - Sound Off

shelly Says: Thursday - August 7, 2008 at 9:12pm He is a fag and he abused his sister. Who knows what happened in that house. Please, everyone grows up poor. We do not hate our moms for it. Did Kanye West blame his mom for being poor? He shared his money with his family. He started this shit with his mom. I am going to buy this book. Just because the money will go to her. Fuck off. When did we start being judged for being poor? He hated his mother because he was embarassed of what others thought. That is a fool growing up, close minded. He exaggerated his poor life. He wanted to be a gangster. I see white kids who act black like him everyday. There are worse things in life then being poor and parents doing drugs. Their raped by a brother or father. I would trade his for mine any day. Where is his sister thru this? Please, he hates woman. It`s in his words and in the way he treats them. He never got beat or raped. Anything eles seems like it could have been fixed, forgiven. there are people with addiction who diserve to be forgiven and stood through. Leah Says: Thursday - August 7, 2008 at 8:44pm How could anyone treat their mother like that? Anyone that`s lived a poor life knows that ometimes you have to do things to get by. Eminem`s a closed minded bitch for treating his mother like that. He was one of the lucky one`s and he treats his mother like that? If he treats his own family like that, how respectful do you really think this want-to-be really is? I won`t spend a dime on his music. He dosn`t deserve the money he has gotten
